For 9 years now, I have been working on several Finance Transformation Programs in both Insurance and Banking industries. Mainly on IFRS9 and IFRS17 projects.
Graduated with a Computer System degree and an Accounting Management degree, I work as consultant (Supervisor) in accounting and reporting systems for KPMG France.
From 2016 to 2018 - Insurance - top 5 French insurer, 240 billion EUR of assets under management and 32 billion EUR of revenue in 2017
As a subsidiary of a banking group, this insurer has to adapt the granularity of its chart of accounts in order to address both the publication of insurance accounts and the reporting of financial data to its shareholder. The group was getting ready to apply IFRS17.
During the project, I prepared Finance reportings according to IFRS during the historical data recovery. I also was in charge of the reconciliation of intragroup and analytical reviews of general ledgers. I designed and implemented financial and group accounting reporting tools.
I worked on the justification, the reconciliation and the automation of the cash flow statement and the statement of changes in equity.
I dealt with many specific reporting cases involving, for example, buildings recognized as property, plant and equipment under French standards and as placement of insurance companies under IFRS. We also had issues to distinguish among the intragroup, partners from the shareholder-reporting scope and partners from the scope of publication of the insurance level.

2017 - Insurance - 1st insurer in France, 285 billion in assets under management and 34 billion in turnover in 2018
As part of the application of IFRS 9 within a bank/insurer group, the overlay option has been chosen in order to report a net result comparable to other market players. In France, the majority of insurers decided to postpone the application of IFRS9 to align to the application date of IFRS17.
I determined the format for the publication of the appendices related to this option. It involved isolating the designated assets (which would have been recognized in AFS under IAS39 and which have been recognized at fair value through profit and loss under IFRS9), and performing gap analysis between net income with and without applying IFRS9 overlay.

From Feb. 2018 to Nov. 2018 - Banking Service - 1st bank in France,12th bank in the world 1 600 billion EUR of total assets and GDP of 20 billion EUR in 2018
As part of the application of IFRS 9 in this banking group, I documented the production process of financial data from the collection by the subsidiaries to the restatements by the group (intragroup reconciliation, elimination of consolidated investments, etc.)
I prepared illustrative financial data sets, and analyzed the existing financial data processing.

From Nov. 2018 to now - Insurance - 4th insurer of people in Europe 310 billion EUR of assets under management and 32 billion EUR of revenue in 2018
In the context of a merger with its main shareholder (bank), I was in charge of the functional design of IFRS17/IFRS9 data requirements and disclosures within the accounting and reporting system (SAP). Due to short delay required for Finance reporting, the project also include a fast close component; which involved analyzing existing production, optimizing, leading Unit Tests and User Acceptance Tests.
I updated the financial data model and to reprocess the data collection in order to optimize the quality of reporting.

Having started the violin at the age of 4, I have been practicing this instrument in a music school for 12 years in parallel with the oboe that I have been practicing for 8 years. I had the opportunity to participate in various concerts in orchestras as well as in a smaller group (oboe and organ). I now enjoy practicing these instruments in order to recharge and unwind.
I am the treasurer of the music association "Les trompettes du Carousel".
Regularly running, I also occasionally play golf.
I participated in several events: Tout Rennes court (21km), Semi de Paris (21km), Paris-Saint-Germain-en-Laye (20km), 20km de Paris, Les foulées de l'assurance (10 km), etc.
